Sean Donovan, a senior at MTSU, is originally from Murfreesboro. In high school he played in the Curb Youth Symphony and the Murfreesboro Youth Orchestra in addition to attending the Interlochen Arts Camp in the summers. As a college student he has performed with the Wind Ensemble, Chamber Winds, the Broad Street Brass, the University Symphony, and Chamber Orchestra, a group with which he has also appeared as a soloist. He has also attended the Chamber Music Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with the Broad Street Brass, and has performed with the Wind Ensemble in China and South Korea.

Eddie Dutton came to MTSU from Antioch, TN where he was involved in numerous honor bands such as the All- Middle Tennessee Band, the UT-Martin Honors Wind Ensemble, the MTSU Wind Band Conference, and others. While in high school, he performed solos with the Antioch Marching Band, and also appeared as a featured soloist in the Antioch Prism Concert. Since he has been at MTSU, he has performed with the MTSU Symphony Orchestra, Chamber WInds, Brass Choir, MTSU student brass quintet, and also the Symphonic Band, As the Music Director for Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, he presented concerts as conductor for the fraternity's vocal ensemble.

Andrew England is a freshmen horn performance major from Gallatin, TN. Andrew began playing horn in seventh grade middle school band and continued horn throughout high school where he decided to major in music. Andrew has played in various honor bands in Tennessee and played in the Curb Youth Symphony. Currently Andrew plays with the MTSU Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Horn Ensemble and the Band of Blue.

John Park Horner is a freshmen from Columbia, TN. He has performed various honor bands throughout the mid-state area, and is currently a member of the MTSU Symphonic Band, Band of Blue, and horn ensemble. John Park is majoring in music performance.

First year graduate student Ion Marina-Uifalean was born in Mociu, Cluj County, Romania. He began his musical studies at the age of ten at Sigismund Toduta Music High School from Cluj-Napoca and received a Bachelor of Music from Gheorghe Dima Music Academy, Cluj-Napoca in 2003. Ion has performed with most of the orchestras in Cluj area including the Transilvania State Philharmonic Orchestra, National Opera House from Cluj-Napoca, Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra, Sibiu Philharmonic Orchestra including European tours to Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Since 2004 he has been the 3rd/ Assistant horn at Dinu Lipatti State Philharmonic Orchestra from Satu-Mare. Ion has also appeared as soloist with Transilvania State Philharmonic Orchestra, played with the Transilvania Brass, Harmonic Brass Band and Napoca Brass Quintet. Also since 2004, he has been Teacher Assistant at the Gheorge Dima Music Academy, Cluj-Napoca.

Stephanie McKeel, currently a freshman at MTSU, comes from Louisville, Kentucky. She has been a participant of the Kentucky All-State Bands and orchestra and has attended various honor bands across the state of Kentucky. In addition to traveling in state, McKeel has had the privilege of traveling to Toronto to perform in the Heritage Music Festival as well as touring Europe with the Kentucky Ambassadors of Music and China with the MTSU Wind Ensemble. As a horn performance major, McKeel is thrilled about starting her college career at MTSU!

A graduate of Antioch High School, R. Michael Rosson is currently pursuing his B. M. Degree in Instrumental Music Education with an emphasis in horn studies. During his high school career, Michael played with numerous honor bands throughout the region, including the All-Middle Tennessee State Band. Michael is currently an avid horn player throughout the School of Music; having performed in Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, various chamber ensembles and the Band of Blue. Michael is also involved in organizations campus-wide including the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Collegiate Music Educators National Conference and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity. After graduation from MTSU, Michael intends to earn an M. M. in Horn Performance and furthering himself as an orchestral horn player.

Hannah Tilton is a sophomore horn performance major at Middle Tennessee State University. Throughout her high school years, she participated in regional ensembles such as the Mid-State and All-State Bands and Orchestra and was a finalist in the Curb Young Musician's Concerto Competition numerous times. Hannah was the recipient of the Myra Jackson Pre-College Scholarship at Vanderbilt University for 2 years. She has also attended numerous music festivals such as the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, the Eastern Music Festival and the TN Governor's School for the Arts. Hannah's primary teachers include Arthur LaBar, Leslie Norton, Eric Ruske, and Angela DeBoer.

Ana Valenzuela is a freshman at MTSU from Athens, Alabama where she graduated from East Limestone High School. She attended multiple honor bands during high school including Middle Tennessee State University, University of North Alabama, Auburn University, and the University of Montevallo. In 2007 she attended All-State Orchestra at the University of Alabama and All-State Band at the University of Auburn. During All-State Band she also participated in the All-State Solo Competition and received a superior rating.
